Shower Screen Fabricator / Factory Hand
Full-Time Position with Immediate Start
Initially working from both our Miranda NSW 2228 and Taren Point NSW 2229 Warehouses

  • Subsidiary company (S & L Manufacturing Pty Ltd) established in 2015 and based in Penrith as a supplier of Commercial Frameless Glass Hardware to the Glazing Industry for the installation of pivot/hinged/sliding/stacking/folding doors, canopies, anchor fixings, spider systems, etc

Miranda Warehouse Duties
  • Assembly of shower screens and mirrors
  • Ordering custom size glass and mirrors
  • Cutting aluminium profiles for shower screens and mirrors
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting of aluminium and glass
  • Driving a forklift
  • Unloading, checking and storing deliveries of glass, aluminium, etc
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse
  • Data entry for placing orders to suppliers and invoicing customers
  • Showroom duties
  • Maintaining tools and machinery
Taren Point Warehouse Duties
  • Glass deliveries to job sites
  • Picking, packing and assisting with dispatch of customer orders and counter sales
  • Data entry
  • Other general labouring and warehouse duties
  • Answering phone if required
  • Restocking shelves
  • Cleaning & organising workspace
Requirements
  • Resume with references
  • Current Australian driver's license
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience fabricating DIAS shower screens and mirrors, or similar
  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Can work efficiently, autonomously and within a team
  • Pride in your work and what is supplied to our customers
  • Medical Certificate stating that you are fit to carry out the requirements of the position
